Show Your Sympathy to the Family

Elizabeth Nancy Walsh of Lexington, passed away at her home October 6, 2022 surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of William C. Scott. Loving mother of Emma Reed Scott, Caroline Elizabeth Scott and  Porter Scott. Daughter to Reed Walsh and Dorothy Scott. Sister to David and Deb Walsh and Nat Walsh and Donyele Lacoste. She is also survived by 2 nieces, Sam and Rosalee.

Beth has been a bright star her whole life spreading her infectious smile, joyful self and glorious singing voice where ever she ventured. It is comforting to think she has joined her father Robbie Walsh with whom she had a special relationship. She had an inspiring career as a Broadway musical theatre and national touring lead actor and singer. Upon moving to Lexington Beth joined the First Parish Church as the lead soprano for the last 17 years. She was also a member of the a capella group, Fretless. Art has always been a big part of Beth’s life including, painting, pottery, photography, needle work, taiko drums, piano and cooking. Beth volunteered her time and was engaged in her community. Genealogy, gaming, reading, bird watching and world travel were among her favorite things.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday October 15th at the First Parish in Lexington, 7 Harrington Rd.  Lexington at 2pm with a reception to follow. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. The memorial service will be live streamed and recorded available at FPlex.org. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to munroecenter.org/donate
